FAMILY WEEKEND 2nd ANNUAL  0.5K DOWNHILL "RACE"
McKeldin Mall
$20 per person
VIP option: $40 per person
Advanced registration is required.

Yes, you read that right! It's a 0.5K "run" for the rest of us. Participants will be led through some fun stretching exercises before meandering the 500-yard distance from McKeldin Library to Main Administration. After enjoying 10 minutes of, um, "running" glory, finishers will receive a medal and a braggadocios bumper sticker... because its 2019 and everyone is a winner. We'll even have a hydration station featuring Dunkin' Donuts (hooray!) midway through the "race." So run, walk, skip, jump or Prancercise... we don't care. It's all downhill from here!

VIP Option
Want to avoid the "race" and sit around eating donuts instead? Be a VIP! For an additional fee, you can skip the "run" and still get a finisher medal and bumper sticker. Over-and-Underachievers unite!

It's for a great cause!
Proceeds from the "race" will benefit the Fostering Terp Success Program. Fostering Terp Success provides support for UMD students who were or are in foster care, students who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, and students who are without a supportive family system.
