Starring comedian BUZZ SUTHERLAND
Dekelboum Concert Hall, Clarice Smith Performing Arts
Center
Buzz Sutherland hosts this special showcase of
Maryland’s own student performance groups. From a
cappella to sketch comedy to dance, this show
features the very best in student entertainment along
with the talent of professional comedian, Buzz
Sutherland. Buzz is a man who is sincerely and seriously
committed to entertaining audiences with humor that is
100% clean and 200% funny. He has been at the very top
of the college comedy world for the past 8 years,
winning Comedian of the Year honors a record 16 times.
His quick wit, unmatched charisma, smooth blend of home
spun characters, and outrageous facial expressions will
have everyone rolling with laughter.

One amazing night—two incredible
performances! We've pulled out all the stops to bring you an
exceptional and memorable evening of entertainment the whole family will
enjoy.
The Adult Circus is a
fast-paced, audience interactive variety show featuring an all-original
presentation of magic, juggling, telepathy and
dangerous side-show stunts all
wrapped in a blanket of comedy. Then, sit tight for one
of the hottest performance groups in the country. Take a
little bit of Stomp!, throw in a dash of Blue Man Group,
add a ton of junk and you have the high energy and
unforgettable show of
Recycled Percussion.

4th ANNUAL GOSPEL BRUNCH
This wonderful event features an amazing buffet of
home-style cooking to feed the body and the inspiring
sounds of gospel music to feed the soul. The gospel
brunch is presented in partnership with the Washington
Performing Arts Society (WPAS) Men and Women of the
Gospel Choir. The choir made its Carnegie Hall debut in
2006, and we are thrilled to welcome them back to the
University of Maryland for another Family Weekend performance.

FAMILY FAREWELL ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Before departing campus for home, all Family Weekend
participants are invited to enjoy delicious scoops of the
university's own Dairy ice cream served up by members of the
Maryland Parents Association.
